At his event he proclaimed that he needs investors to step in and support his creative vision with his Yeezy clothing line. Because he's been financing it on his own and of course the clothing line is struggling to make a profit. I can see it being through.
Remember $53M for someone like Kanye is probably like 53K for the average college student in Student Loans. Yes it seems like a whole lot but with the right fiscal behavior and work ethic you can pay it off.
all of this + constant lawyer fees + bad spending habits
Probably spending most of his coin on that tragic of a so-called fashion line, and then selling these fabrics for $2,000 a piece to reclaim his losses.

He's clothing would sell amazing if they were actually affordable. But, then he sells them for 1k+ like
$37M in under 12 months tho? Like I don't even know what he could have invested that much in to, make -$37M in profit, if he was ALREADY broke.

If he funded his fashion line by himself + the argument about all the sampling making his music less profitable is pretty believable. He also might have lost millions on his last tour if he funded any of it himself (which seems likely).
Why is this hard to believe, he's admitted to being in debt several times before, being in debt doesn't mean you're broke especially for a wealthy person married to another wealthy person, who i'm a 100% sure kept their fiances separate.
