Why do some people have major problems with others liking Rihanna's vocals, her performances and her songs? It seems every where I go on ATRL there is someone ala VIN who seem to make it their life work to condemn Rihanna and her fans who prefer her over music artists. You really ought to get a life and stop worrying about what others prefer or like and why they are not in line with your perspective of things.

To answer your question

Rihanna has stage presence
She is a good singer...a very good singer
Rihanna performances and songs are not forgettable

If you disagree then you can kindly go and jump in the lake and cool off!

Another thing, a lot of people will claim that Rihanna has no stage presence, that her performances are boring but they will watch them again and again and they won't be able to tell you what the dancers were wearing because they their eyes are glued on Rihanna. What does that tell you?

I agree with Vin and Ricos points in this thread, Rihanna has allot of time to grow still she's very young, but she doesn't command the stage like the other seasoned veteran.

First of all, Mariah is a VOCALIST therefore she doesn't have to dance and she still possesses more presence on stage than Rihanna, so let's not. And Britney's presence is more stronger than Rihanna as well. And let's not sit here and act as though Rihanna has never lip-synched. Rihanna sings live but it's not like she's slaying anyone with her vocals so the whole "well at least she sings live" remark is tired and has zero merit.

I've seen both Britney and Rihanna live. Britney's concert was a better experience. While I like Rihanna's music, I wouldn't pay to see her live again.

She's been in the game going on 7 years now, there's zero excuse as to why she hasn't put on a iconic performance or even one that's highly memeroable to the masses. And there's no desire there to improve as a better performer, it's too early for her to be as lazy as she is.

I can say the same about a loooooot of Britney's performances, it depens of what you look for a performance...if you look for charm and some nice moves that's ok, if you looks for a effort for live vocals by someone that is not gifted but still has the balls to do it...then that's ok too...that is charmy for me for example.

Thanks for the video, Elliotis. This performance is a prime example of what I stated in the original post. The opening was great, the shadow always portrays iconic imagery and brings to mind her contemporaries. However, while the performance was nice to watch, it still leaves you with nothing. It doesn't mean it was a bad performance, but it's not a memorable or lasting one. My argument is that I feel all of her performances tend to be like that. She's missing a certain quality when it comes to the stage.

You're right. Her productions are large. But Britney still is the one in control, if you've watched her live. With her dwindling skill, it is becoming more obvious to notice the backup and what's going on, but you still want to see BRITNEY. Being in her presence is alone a great feeling, let alone what she is doing. I don't feel that with Rihanna.

Mariah is a damn vocalist. She does not need to be brought up with these entertainers. Nor do you have to resort to such attacks.

I don't believe I've seen that gif but I can't say I'm surprised.

For someone who's still in their prime, I don't see how one can have a up temple track like 'Only girl' which is so fun and upbeat to listen to but she 'performs' it like that. I haven't seen one 'Only girl' performance that left me impressed.

I think she's really cute though.
