We're starting it out with something massive.
MonsterRoco has agreed to host the first singles rate ...
THE ULTIMATE UK GIRL GROUP RATE.
That's right. All of the singles from the UK's five biggest post-Bananarama girl groups.
The Spice Girls. All Saints. Sugababes. Girls Aloud. The Saturdays.
All their singles. All in one rate.
YES.

That's not what I meant, Ace.
I meant like the 'Ultimate Rihanna Rate.' You don't remember? Surely you must.

I'll do the 2010 fall. I've listened to all the albums, and I'm a quick calculator of averages, means, etc. I can breakdown number of votes for each number ranking, etc.
EDIT: Could I host a pop #1s rate?
Rank all of Bey's #1s (excluding D's child), Brit's #1s, Gaga's #1s, Katy's #1s, Ke$ha's #1s, Rihanna's #1s, etc.?
See which #1 is truly the best one?

I'm a huge Alanis fan, so I'd be willing to host the Canadian Madness rate. But maybe it would make more sense to switch Shania out for something along the pop/rock lines (Whoa, Nelly!, perhaps?).

I love that idea! You could extend it to all the pop girls from this generation—Gwen, Fergie, Adele, Avril, Nelly Furtado, Shakira, Christina and so on.

Lol you caught my shady ass
However, I think there should be some rules
They have to have at least one Billboard Hot 100 #1, and it has to be solo (it can be a collabo, but for Fergie it can't be BEP), and it has to be from 2000-2011.
It's gonna get real messy

I like it like it. After Take It Off/Monster are over, then you and Nait will go.
Then @michael and Duca.

I think that might be a little too unruly.
but Singles rates might work better, for now. We can revisit as we go along.

Your fave fan should. The singles rate will have me busy anyway.
Just PM me when you want me to post my thread and I'll be ready to go

I'm setting some ground rules for my singles rate.
#1: The #1 has to be from a woman who is alligned in the pop world. This means no Ashanti, Ciara, etc. Beyonce is pop to me, so she's a go ahead. I'm debating Alicia Keys' inclusion in this.
#2: The woman on said #1 must be the lead artist. If it's an equal sharing song, there can't be more than 2 people. If there are features, there can't be more than two either (producers don't count)
#3: "Urban" sounding #1s are ok if the artist has been proven to be a "pop" alligned star (ie: Baby Boy and JLo's #1s are ok by me)
#4. The song must have gone #1 between the beginning of January 2000 and the end of November 2011.
EDIT: Oh and I'm not including American Idol #1s. Sorry. This includes Moment Like This
Any questions or comments? Because I'm compiling my list of #1s right now
EDIT 2: There are 56 #1s. This includes Alicia Keys. I'm still not including Ciara or Ashanti.
