No, any "constructive criticism" in the previous thread was usually a veiled personal attack. We thought a "don't talk about other members" rule would be too much, but we don't want to encourage it either. Just don't overdo it.

You're not likely to get warned for breaking HQ rules, we'll try and stick with reminders and thread bans.

are you allowed to say in the lines of ''member X keeps posting annoying threads.'' in here?

Not me getting reported. I was just asking why he deleted it and then helping him know the function of the edit button

Edit: @ me having a PM. Wish me luck

Edit 2: oop it was a wall post we need a better way to know if it's a PM or a wall post I had a heart attack. Maybe that's a suggestion to the site

Indeed. The problem with the old HQ was that people were using it for attention and to gain notoriety. It made it more difficult for us to help those who actually mean well. So most of the warning-related stuff will now be handled through help requests.

Many complaints also require some kind of mod discussion, which doesn't happen if it's posted here. Nothing gets done and people think we're ignoring them, when we really just don't have an answer. That's why we're putting more emphasis on help requests.

well you get a pop up notification (or you can enable it) when you receive a pm

Do you mean that notification thing which works for wall posts as well? It's such a bad idea I keep on having heart attacks because of poorly timed wall posts

Yeah, the old HQ was full of wannabe mods trying to show off their credentials. Nice members but they clogged it up when I asked genuine questions.

It's kind of unnecessary as threads can be reported. If you think we're not aware that someone is posting a lot of annoying threads then you could mention it in the report. But on the other hand it falls under "discuss other things that are happening on ATRL". So it's not something I'd warn or delete unless it's a page full of people talking about this one member.

I think the no celebrating people's bans is a great rule.

Coming into HQ and seeing people laugh, clap and make snide comments directed at people that just got banned (even if I didn't like the person that was banned) was a pet hate of mine. It's so unnecessary.
