Yet that's still 10000% better than the crap that the show is now. It's literally endless relationship messiness and random plot twists that don't make any sense. Like how Maya went from nice cool, smart, non judgmental girl to a promiscuous idiot in literally one season with no build up towards it at all. At least when they did that with Manny, they showed signs for countless episodes the season before that she would change to get the guy she wanted (Spinner then eventually she went for Craig).
The show also has horrible pacing now. The two part style should have stayed only for the daily summer episodes then the winter and fall should have went back to one episode and done or just finally make the show a hour long
Lastly, all the new characters are so unbearable and annoying and can't act at all. They make the TNG cast look like Oscar nominees and winner with how bad they are. They need to just end this show honestly. It's jumped shark too many timesbig time (Season 8 and somewhere between Season 12 and 13 with Maya and Campbell dying plus Clare of all people being pregnant just to name a few). The ratings are so awful now too
But yeah, the relationship mess is like the entire show. So it's boring and stupid. I rather watch a real soap opera than this mess or the original cast even if they drop a minor plot to kill someone or focus on a rape or whatever. Actual real life issues everyone can relate to > Relationship drama that nobody cares about and no one can relate to.
