Somebody should post Beyonce's "4" single numbers. I want to compare. ![too funny](images/smilies/images/smilies/priceless.gif)
|
Run The World (Girls): 900,000
Best Thing I Never Had: 1,000,000
Love On Top: 1,004,684
Countdown 500,000
Dance for You 300,000
Party 169,000
None of their single sales last era were impressive, but 4 still managed to sell double what Femme Fatale did. (1.4 million vs. 0.7 m) ![Doc](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/doc_zpsc886535c.gif) Selling 700k more albums > Selling 2.5 million more singles (with singles that went top 10).

Best Thing I Never Had one year and 4 months later. Love On Top roughly one year later. Most digital forces reach Platinum at least in first two months.

How is Ooh La La mainstream. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif) It's straight kiddie music.
![clap](http://home.arcor.de/smiliez/smz/1074.gif) at my fellow Army members clocking.

So 2.4 million more singles sold, with 2 less singles and two televised performances. And all certified in the same year.
dodk at bringing up the SYG albums argument. Just save the rambling and accept what you already know, brothren.

Lol, nobody has the creativity to make up such laughable excuses like the Army. I'm assuming her last 2 albums were "kiddie music" as well ?
Anw, I'd say both have low digital power, going thru a borderline-has been status but Britney edges her out a bit

Oh wait, I forgot. It's an upbeat Dr.Luke and Britney song, so it's automatically mainstream. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif)

Didn't "Scream & Shout" go #1 in 30+ countries on iTunes as it was released, and NOT even her song?
Bey has enough trouble these days supporting her own songs. Did any new Jay-Z song she was on smash on iTunes, depsite those songs being on an album with a 500k+ debut and from one of the biggest Rappers of All-Time?

That song featuring Beyonce on Jay Z's new album was actually one the worst digitally performing tracks on the album. ![coffee2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/b80efe23.gif)

"Ooh La La" is not comparable to songs like say "3" or "Till The World Ends", which are about sex and clubbing. So no, it is not "mainstream" where the general public will pick up a corny song geared towards children. The fact that Beyonce' stan even brought it up as a key point to their argument is laughable, since just 3 months prior "Scream & Shout" was crossing the 3 million mark.
In response to @iHypeMusic, yes! "Scream & Shout" slayed digital stores worldwide and of course has pushed over 6 million downloads across the globe! Beyonce hasn't seen that kind of digital showing in half a decade.

I don't even want to go forward with these numbers. Billboard, Oprah, American Idol, Target exclusives, VMAs, 80 music videos. Yeah, digital force she is!

On top of the fact "Scream & Shout" going #1 in 30+ countries with her just being FEATURED, and none of Bey's songs on Jay's album she's featured on smashing on iTunes we also have the fact:
Beyonce was on a Jay-Z song that also had Nas, Pharrell, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Swizz Beatz, and herself and still couldn't smash on iTunes. You can use the excuse it wasn't a single, but at the time of the release there was no single so it could've taken the lead as one (which Holy Grail ended up doing).
We can also compare Ooh La La a Soundtrack Single, to Rise Up a Soundtrack Single.
I use the gerls equally, but c'mon Beyhive - it's obvi.
