His sound was very interesting and fresh at first but its starting to become very tired and warn out so I'm happy he dissed born this way, ruining a chance at ever working with gaga.

We already have two generic producers for the new album, I'm sure Redone and Zedd will provide the generic anthems of our generation, no need of Guetta!

I think he meant it was personally disappointing to him because it referenced musical trends of the 80s rather than providing innovative sounds, which she is capable of. He was complimenting her potential, if anything.
As for the point of, it was disappointing cause it didn't have me on it, I think he meant something more a long the lines of being disappointment that he wasn't able to contribute like he wanted to. He he a lot of respect for her, after all.
