This week's Artist of the Week is Cher Lloyd who garnered up 126 plays all throughout last week. Lloyd received all of her plays solely from her sophomore album 'Sorry I'm Late'. 'Late' proved to be a strong album seller as shown in the album charts below.
And thus for the Top 10 albums of the week, after a 2 week reign of Pure Heroine by Lorde, Lloyd's 'Late' manages to notch top spot after 3 weeks on the chart. 'Late' sells 1,260,000 copies this week managing to outsell the #2 spot 1000 Forms of Fear by Sia by a 12.5% lead. And as for the #3 album this week, it's Lorde's Pure Heroine, who, despite a sales decrease of only 1.87%, manages to drop to #3 however still with a comforting lead over the #4. And as for song sales this week, BO$$ rises 4 spots as well as sells another 500,000 to gain the peak position on this chart component. As for the #2, it's Sia's Fire Meet Gasoline. 'Gasoline' has a sales decrease of 18,2% percent to 450,000 copies, however, it manages to stay at #2. And landing at #3 this week is Cher's I Hope You Find It found on her album Closer To The Truth. However when comparing the Top 15 song sales to last week, song sales see an increase of 5,0%.
