Performances on shows dont even work like that. Since when do we have back to back performances all of a sudden.. Something was going on. Sounds kinda like sabotage.

But its cool seeing as this place holds the charts so highly..

ONE is selling at the top of iTunes, WITHOUT the need for any of the tricks and elaborate backdrops. The other can barely get their latest single in the TOP 30 WITH ALL THE BUDGET and TIME frames

I actually blame MTV.
Even though they knew Beyoncé was gonna win the most and put on a show, I think they (and alot of other pop music consumers) was anticipating this moment of Britney slaying and that their performance scheduling was a good idea.

Sometimes it's difficult to discern, but most of the time if she's doing lots of dips and heavy movements she lips

Bey was always going to be performing, they just didn't release it until recently.

That's not news though. MTV always tried to sabotage her. But I don't think she and most of her fans care. MM is still doing great, any promo matters. It's not like some news made by Beyoncé stans would harm her career.

The excuses. Bey was announced last week. Her dancers had already been rehearsing for over a week. This wasn't spur of the moment. And a Britney stan trying to come for hits and sales in 2016 is hilarious in itself. Check those first week sales, hun.

But whether it was intentional or not, i do agree putting Britney after Bey was messed up. I LOVE Brit, but the downgrade from Bey's performance to Britney's lip syncing mess was a kii.

And sis come on. Make Me is a lead single, it is discounted, the album was just released, it had promo with the Carpool Karaoke thing. Let's not act like it's slaying on its own.

If you can't see that Beyonce is the best performer from our generation and that it's her biggest strength and you genuinely believe that Britney's performance was better objectively, then you probably have no critical thinking skills it's just stan-goggles.

Britney was good, too, for her 2010s dancing ability.

Her performance started off good...then that white boy came out, it went down hill from there. Brit lipping "Me Myself and I" was the worst part...that was tragic.

Brit's team really needs to stop booking her these award shows...like what is the net positive? She needs to stay in Vegas, rake in millions, and be a good mom to her kids.
