The world doesn't use her much anymore because she didn't do much with ARTPOP. She didn't market it well at all, did little promo outside of Applause, and would disappear for weeks at a time when she was supposed to be doing something with ARTPOP. Funny how the GP seemed to use her when she was at her preachiest during Born This Way. However, I will admit, because of the number of her gay fans, she's percieved a gay artist, and less people use her because they don't want that stereotype. It has nothing to do with her being preachy, but more so the fans she drew in.
Same applies to the critics. They all loved her pretentiousness when it was selling. As soon as it stopped doing so, they all mysteriously changed their minds. Fickle minds
So, the big story here is that Gaga is losing no money whilst the resellers are, because on her flop era people aren't as interested in seeing her live?

I disagree, both of those things are true. She lost her fun and cool factor that everyone fell in love with a while ago. The preachy behavior is part of that.

Not really. They didn't mind it because it hadn't been rammed down our throats for 2+ years like it had been when ARTPOP was released. Critics reacted fine to Applause and DWUW. DWUW had amazing reviews, but the album wasn't received well because it was just a flat out dumb concept and the lyrical content made no sense most of the time.
