No more rapped hooks though

I wish there were a few "fun" songs though. I get that Angel wants to tell a story but would it have killed her to put a Blazin or a Super Bass on there? All these songs are so serious.

Say Pink Friday is a classic album on any non-pop forum and you'd be laughed at to hell and back. Dirty Gold isn't half the album Pink Friday was though. At least Pink Friday had some good psychotic pure rap tracks. Not here for New York two years later, even if it was one of my top 5 tracks of 2012. Could she not have thrown in another rap hook somewhere.. the samples are. I'm done Angel, Iggy keeps slaying it right now.

PF isn't a panned album at all, and it's singles still have high recurrent airplay on Urban & Pop (for Super Bass).

It's stood the test time of time.

I think the problem is that people want these females to recreate what they did on their mixtapes, when an album is an entire different thing. You experiment and try different things on your album than you would on a mixtape. It's how it's always been with every Hip-Hop artist.

And yeah y'all, she really isn't Nicki so stop trying to make her into Nicki. She's her own artist.

On the one hand it sounds really intense but on the other it sounds pretty basic I always liked her so I will listen to it in full when its out.
