Yes!
The weird belief men & women are inherently different is toxic. But pushing classrooms into a post-gender view where all genders can feel welcomed and equal, including nonbinary/intersex/trans students, will also see the weird gender separationist attitude (ie: blue for boys, pink for girls, only boys can do x, only girls can do y, boys are naturally a certain way, girls are naturally a certain way) die out and sexism / misogyny will begin to be less frequent.
People mad and saying "don't teach children that" sure are silent on the crazy sexist/transphobic/homophobic ingrained ******** society is teaching their kids anyway.
