Rihanna and Gaga are the only women after Bey and Madonna worth seeing doing this sort of thing. JAY Z and Kanye West are the main males I'd love to see doing it, but I'd be hear for No Doubt too.
There's rumors that talks have already started for Katy..and two other top contenders are Blake Shelton and Pitbull..
I'm sorry but Pitbull is a complete NO! As for Blake ...smh we want a entertainer..Blake is good but not a entertainer.
I agree RihRih would be epic but we all know the screen will fade to black or cut to commercial if she does something controversial..her performance will be highly criticized especially with parents.
As For Kyle it would be a miracle opportunity for her but lets face it it will never happen..
I don't want another male performer so
That leaves JLo who is an amazing entertainer. I think its either JLo/Katy for next year. If only Aaliyah or Selena was alive

YES! Including a portion of the show for solo Gwen to perform her L.A.M.B hits.
My pick would be Rihanna, Xtina or Gaga. Rihanna has the hits, Xtina has the voice and knows how to put on show stopping performances and Gaga is always exciting.
I bet they're gonna ask Maroon 5 to do the next one, or Jay Z. Shakira would be a great choice, though, she has broad enough appeal, unlike most of the other pop girls.
I love Adele but that would literally be the worst Halftime Show ever. She's not that kind of artist.
The only way she'd ever work in the Halftime Show is if she was a guest act or co-headlined with someone who has more upbeat music and they could play off each other.
She'd never do it anyways.
edit: Then again, RITD, Rumour Has It, and Set Fire to the Rain could work in that kind of setting with SLY being the big ballad at the end (and maybe newer material if it's more upbeat, happy).

As a special guest for the Foo Fighters with Rolling In The Deep with a slightly change in the verses would bring the house down.
