Same. Every time I see a cop now, my heart rate speeds up and all I can think of is "walk straight, keep your hands out of you pockets, don't look at them, and try to get out of their line of sight as SOON as possible". I'm literally terrified for my life. Many black people echo the same sentiment. Yet white America (and clearly most of ATRL if the threads over the past few days are any indication) doesn't see a problem with that. So as usual, since white people are ok with it, nothing will be done.

Cops are not a marginalized community of people, they are an institution hired by the government and bestowed with unimaginable POWER to PROTECT people. But multiple people have already told you this in just the past couple pages and you've ignored every last one of them so...

Compare that to the training it takes to become any other trained professional. Blue Lives are Murdering everyday because the training is inadequate and this issue is not JUST about Blacks, it is about a failing Police force who are not trained or vetted to properly fulfil their duty. They could be up in you a** someday shooting your family member because of this too so #BLM is important if Blue or if Black

We KNOW not all cops murder. Don't be fooled into thinking that means that they're not bad cops though. These "good cops" yall speak of are completely content with sitting on the sidelines while their friends murder innocent people DAILY.
They are completely content with and in most cases will go OUT OF THEIR WAY to defend their murderous friends and even ENABLE them in various ways, including getting them off scott-free whenever they **** up and "accidentally" kill another citizen for no reason. They are perfectly content with LYING in a police report and MAKING UP false evidence to paint the victim as a criminal. They are perfectly content with deciding not to use their government-sanctioned body cameras and claiming that they "fell off" in a struggle, when in reality, they didn't use them because they KNEW their buddies were doing something wrong. They are perfectly content with tweeting "not all of us are like that!" whenever their homie murders another citizen in cold blood, while actively ignoring the FACT that a disproportionate amount of them ARE. They won't call them out on it. They won't admit that it's a problem. And why? Because they don't CARE. That's what it all boils down to. We mean NOTHING to them.
Don't get it twisted white people. They don't care about you either. They may give yall leniency but it's only because they know they won't get away with killing you like they will if you were slightly darker. Yall are sitting in front of your computers rallying for the wrong side and it's sad and embarrassing as ****.
