I'm just under 5'7''/169 cm which is kind of an in between height -- the taller end of the average height range and the shorter end of the heights that people consider tall for women in the US.
I wear heels most of the time so my perceived height by most is very tall at 5'10''-6'0'' (177-182cm) on most days.
I'm don't have a problem with it; inseams can be annoying sometimes being a bit too short for the "tall" and a bit too tall for the "average" inseam on pants, but that's about it.
