Fun, catchy and corny, I can't ask more for a Black Keys's song. Those claps annoy me a bit though.
Tame Impala
"Feels Like We Only Go Backwards"
The repetitive chorus is more than awesome. I can't explain what I love the most in this song, the drums, vocals, bassline, all is amazing! And it is even better when you're listening to the whole album.
Lost In The Trees
"Golden Eyelids"
A folk pop melody, slightly gloomy with a mist that seems overwhelm the vocals, melodic hooks that aren't very exciting, yet pretty catchy and well-played.
Bat For Lashes
"All Your Gold"
This song's structure and instrumental is very similar to the hit of the year "Somebody That I Used To Know". Luckily, I love that song and Nathasha's vocals make this even more exciting.
Hey, your year-end is great! I agree with you that the Band of Horses was a disappointment (did you hear that song "Dumpster World"? eww brother, not so good), but "Knock Knock" is OK, you're right. I like the Killers, Green Day, and Black Keys, and others. Good layout, good write-ups, I look forward to what you have up next!
