I don't quite understand why everyone is surprised by the fact that the GMAYL video is extremely mediocre. The whole Gaga fiasco and the irony stemming from it aside, Madonna hasn't done anything truly remarkable in over 5 years, pushing a decade. Hard Candy was a blatant attempt to keep up with the current times, and it's been obvious since the start that MDNA would be the same way.
