Imagine 100 fans running towards you and trying to touch you...a celeb can end up breaking a limb or something in midst of pushing shoving. Its dangerous.

Honestly I think that was overreacting on Peter's part. The fan didn't touch her, he was just trying to get close to her. His excitement got the best of him. She wasn't in danger.
