britney isn't a legend, she's an icon and that's it. no one is going to regard as a revolutionary force of nature. janet is a legend, don't know why anyone is discrediting her of that. however, her work tends to be put on the back burner, but she's influenced many. lastly, although some may not regard beyonce as a legend yet, she's destined for that status regardless. she's established herself as a musical and cultural force so there isn't much of a discussion on that.
