Pls stop! This isn't remotely related. They all do a lot of charity. There's a time for everything.
NOW is the time to address a concern that directly affects their livelihood. So it "actually matters" to them.
I kinda addressed everything you mentioned. I'm torn, because I do understand it's their livelihood and passion. Everybody knows this guerrilla marketing social media takeover is uber effective, and it's just sad to see it benefit people who are by no means struggling. It's not really an attack directed at anybody, just how ignorant we are as a society, I guess.
Ugh. I actually really don't know how to feel about this. I just watched the video again and it's all over my Facebook (they all posted the video simultaneously) but I can't help but feel confused & annoyed. Like, y'all already have so much money.. what else do you want? That ridiculous close up of Daft Punk golden-black's helmet which probably costs more than anything us 'normal' human beings possess. So over this whole Tidal thing already.
That's obviously a tentative assessment. If it turns out that none of these folks are being greedy and this huge assembly ends up being something else, then I'll digress!
messT @ people acting like some of the big names not present in the meeting are not gonna join this cause
The music industry is a big monopoly of record labels and every major artist is gonna go the same route
