I know she didn't mean it as a joke but imo it's just hypocritical to state how commercially successful you are, it's not getting you any sympathy points, plus it's not like she's coming straight from an era that was actually that successful that you have to necessarily claim how big it was. I'm not bitter, it's just my impression. I would've cringed at Britney too if she had said this.

Not that it needs ANY explanation because she is HUGELY successful but she explains why she went the route she did for 4, she states she has been so commercially successful but she was ready to progress to something different with 4, something more soulful.

Yes, among others but it comes off as a title that was already made a thousand times and I don't think anyone wants her to do some Gospel now. If it's just an empowerment song I'm okay with this. Concerning her quote I'm wondering whether she recorded that documentation prior to her last era? Because there's a footage of a sonogram.
