Gaga really changed into a different person though. I don't think the monsters would've abandoned her if she had stuck with her charming eccentricity. But she has become so off-putting. She's lost all direction and drive. She says dumb things all the time. And all this makes them question the genuineness of her previous persona.

The music itself and its lack of commercial success doesn't seem to bother them that much. Cause that too is just a consequence of the change within Gaga.
