I can't wait to see Gaga 'transform' into the JUDAS era. She won't have the cosme-whatevers, black bangs, and OF COURSE a new wardrobe. What do us monsters expect to see? I hope the video is EPIC too because the BTW video was AMAZING, but had little hype. Agreed?

j/w do you get personally offended/upset if someone says something negative about GaGa? If you don't, then you don't really have any reason to worry. If someone is so intolerant of other people's taste that they'd make fun of you for listening to a singer they don't like, they're not really worth your time tbh

And yet your "Cameron was hot back then" explanation for the superiority of MBFW fails to shed light on its quality. If anything I've done a better job of that with my thoughts on the ending.
With scenes of Julia Roberts falling off of beds, chairs, stools, out of elevators, crashing into food, MBFW got sort of annoying at times.

AND I USED TO BE AN UNDERCOVER STAN. My parents are pastors and fellow Christians have HARSH opinions about Gaga. But this PASTOR'S KID isn't afraid to tell everyone I'm a GAGA stan.

Sometimes I'm sacred to jump into the pool cause I think it would be to cold, so I sit going back and forth daring myself to jump in... but in the end I end up jumping in... closing my eyes and holding my breath. Its cold and Its daring but when I'm in, I enjoy it and I have fun. What I'm trying to say is.. once you get it out you will feel so much better..
NOTE: Sorry if I took this whole thing the wrong way lol, just responding to your post cause I didnt see anyone else do

MBFW is more charming and original, whereas PW really only has Julia's performance and is pretty dull outside of that.
Plus, the critics agree with me, as evidenced by RT ratings.

Careful there, you're treading on DMF ground. You think MBFW is more charming and original. You think PW is dull outside of Julia's performance. Will you also argue that it's better because it's legendarier and the romcom of our generation?
The world disagrees, and when we're talking about an art form that is meant to appeal to the masses, that counts. RT isn't accurate when it comes to older movies - the reviews counted are random. Metacritic is better.
I'm off for now.

It's an opinion. I'm entitled to it.
And I will express my opinions anywhere I want, no matter what they are.

Yes, we're only dealing with subjective appraisals here. It's not like throwing out concrete facts like the rating of the movie has any sort of significance to the quality. Likewise, PW being the "romcom of our generation" has no significance to my enjoyment of it... or lack thereof.

^ AGREED! I love being a GAGA STAN! My whole middle school thinks it's great when I go to the bathroom to hear the premiere of something or when I'm always talking about 'news' and GAGA all the time. I'm known throughout my whole school as a Gaga fan... I love it.

And that's why, assuming we were talking about which is considered superior vs. simply our enjoyment, I brought out the objective:
-The box office
-The awards/nominations
-The worldwide impact and the way it made Julia Roberts the biggest female star since Audrey Hepburn
-The lasting appeal and pop culture references. 21 years later and it's still remembered, watched and loved. That must speak at least in some part to its quality, no?
Ok now I'm off.
