It doesn't matter if you are careful when the subject of the thread is still inherently flamebait. Claiming Gaga is selling out because she adheres to UAE's laws is either ignorant or flamebait. Real artists push boundaries, even laws. There are many artists that would have kept their integrity (like Madonna when she was in Dubai) by refusing to compromise - either by sticking to their original show or not performing at all. Getting ATRL's view on this was totally legitimate. You shut down the thread because of a pressed fan and your instinctive cultural relativism, not because it was flamebait.

She was going by the country's LAW. All she did was change two (!!!) outfits that showed a bit too much skin. If she hadn't done so we would have got the exact same flamebait thread from you, only this time about Gaga being "disrespectful" to UAE culture.
