I guess it makes sense with no single really doing well Right Now (cough cough) combined with the ridic prices. Seriously, digital music should not cost that much.
People say that **** Like You wouldn't play on radio, I don't think so. Radio effect is not that big now, if she does a great video for it. Don't you see WCS at #2 with barely 30 million audience? I think SLY can be a hit, and that sample is gold. I hope she releases it.
About True Love: It will be Top 10 because radio is playing Pink like there's no tomorrow. I think it will do fine and be a moderate hit. The only thing it needs to do is to go Top10. If she performs at the VMAs, I can see it selling 2 million copies tbh. It's still one of the worst singles of her career.
I think "We Can't Stop" will be the next #1, people are clearly loving it. Once radio picks up more it will supplant Blurred Lines.
This is true, but I don't know, the power of "Blurred Lines" is enormus. But yeah, We Can't Stop is a strong hit for Miley, a real strong and sucessful comeback by her. One of the best songs of the year, indeed
She's the only one (at the moment) who looks to dethrone "Blurred Lines" (on iTunes and, quite possibly, the Hot 100). "Radioactive" and "Get Lucky" have reached their digital peak, it seems. With less than 30 million audience impressions, the potential for digital growth lies with "We Can't Stop."
