I don't get the logic of this "supplanting" though. Blurred Lines will continue to have more airplay than WCS throughout the latter's whole run, and unlike WCS, it's being supported not just by Pop, but also the Rhythmic, Hot AC, AC, Urban, Urban AC, and even Triple A radio formats, so it will have more coverage and reach more people. The odds are stacked against Miley, and WCS hasn't even come close to selling 300K, and it probably never will. However, a consistent 200K+ per week for a couple months will still be an amazing feat.

After PITU and this single, it solidifies Slayley Slayrus as a tremendous digital force that our other faves should watch out for.
