You're right, they don't! It wasn't that your song wasn't "deep" that I felt made it a troll song, it was more so the fact that you seemed more concerned with making your song humorous than making something good, and we're at a stage in the game where people do submit songs just to troll.
And you do have a point - I shouldn't assume things, but I did. I figured with how your song was, along with how early into the game it is, it was a troll song, and it never occurred to me to ask...but I don't really think it's a good sign if you have to ask a contestant if they're joking or not.
Regardless, my reaction was because of having to judge 50 songs in a little amount of time. I do apologize if you thought I was being harsh but I thought I was having my time wasted.
