I heard that it's only with Pitbull and that her solo shows get better reviews. I don't know how much of that is true though. Doesn't really matter anyway.

I hope never again to have to get through “Machine Gun Love,” a new and sadly monotonous song

She's already in trouble with the community in Newtown, Conn. (site of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School) because of songs like "Machine Gun Love" and "Die Young."

She had fun with new songs like "Gold Trans Am" and "Dirty Love," but sometimes looked bored.

For instance: the track “Dirty Love,” off her recent album Warrior. As if not already abundantly clear in its message, did the song really need the alarmingly explicit visual of Ke$ha poking her finger into one of her dancer’s butts?

When you perform a song like “Gold Trans Am,” how does pretending to weld your crotch while changing the already-blatant lyrics to “Get inside of my vagina” expand and augment a recorded version of the song? If anything, it makes the track seem more like a gimmick than it did before.

To go from bad to worse, she debuted "Machine Gun Love," a new song she says no one wants her to record.

Hope this stops the delusion that RCA ruined Warrior by making Ke$ha change her original sound, as you can see almost no one is here for rock Ke$ha and almost everybody (aside from her fans) seems to hate Machine Love Gun, her best song according to some of you...

I'm judging JUST from these reviews, if there are other reviews praising her rock songs then forget everything I said... but I still hate her rock songs.

I hate them too. Pure pop Ke$ha is where it's at. I did enjoy Machine Gun Love from one of the live recordings though. Still, I hate to say it.. but her supposed original plans for Warrior would have totally made me jump ship. Just imagine an album full of Dirty Loves

lol i feel the same way. i could barely finish dirty love. rock kesha can stay on youtube, i can't at anyone who praises that ****** ass song machine gun love. so awful i just really hate that song more than i hate dinosaur or stephen.

I agree, it would not have worked.

If she's planning to make a rock kind of record, then she'll have to be much more original and inventive about it than that. I loved Machine Gun Love on first listen, but I think it was mainly the sensation of finally getting a leaked song after this long time. Now I think it's mediocre at best.

Not all, but many. I have seen a few more positive ones, but those weren't praising her either. Her solo tour reviews do seem to be more positive overall.

imo if she is receiving negative reviews it's because they're expecting a party popstar... not a rockstar. That's why Pitbull receives positive ones, he is giving them what they expect... a party.

She can't halfass it. If halfassing things is the only way she can do them at all because RCA isn't here for it, then they aren't here for it and she shouldn't even bother, because it would be a waste of effort and won't really go anywhere.
