With all these EXO rumors floating around I'm beginning to think my original suspicion might have possibly been right. I think the Chinese members' departures might have been planned all along and it was some kind of joint venture where they agreed to be in the group for x amount of time to become recognized as celebrities, and then would be released to pursue whatever field they wanted. Cause SM knows EXO's fanbase is ridiculous enough that the group can survive without a few of the original members.
That sounds super extra, even for SM, but I don't know how else to explain the level of messiness going on with EXO's lineup. The lawsuits are the only thing that doesn't add up, so it probably IS just an enormous mess and I'm being a conspiracy theorist, but like. What if.

Watching through SN8D Tokyo Dome fancams, they performed really well but their vocals are a bit messy, mostly thanks to Tiffany and Sunny getting all of Jessica's parts and singing them just

I don't think it's as complicated as that.
I think it comes down to the Chinese members feeling less valued than the Korean members. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but clearly there were major issues between SM and EXO that caused this mess and the lawsuits confirm it.
It wouldn't make sense to plan this drama. I understand the conspiracy about SM's new CEO wanting to break-up the "older idols" to make space for new ones i.e. SNSD, but EXO only debuted in 2011. To have this much scandal in just 3 years is messy and looks like SM isn't in control of the group.
EXO as a band will be fine, but their image is damaged with all of these lawsuits and disputes with SM. Neither SM nor EXO really benefit from that, so I don't know why they would plan to do that. It's not like they are even desperate for media coverage or anything?

Flower Power is terrible without Jessica. A classic ruined.
Sunny sounds horrible singing the "do you wanna be my lover?" part, and Tiffany now has to stand alone during that part in the routine and it looks awkward.
My Oh My also doesn't sound as good without Jessica. Why they keep on giving everything to Tiffany I have no idea.
Tiffany not a main vocalist, no matter how many lines they give her. Tiffany is only good at the low/mid notes. When it comes to high notes, belting or anything technically advanced, she fails disastrously and is a wailing mess.
All SNSD performances will sound messy from now on. Only Tiffany has the right accent to do the English parts justice, Taeyeon doesn't sound good doing "I'm so sure" in Mr. Taxi, and they've lost a main vocalist in Jessica.
In the vocal line Tiffany is just not strong enough and Seohyun is too unstable live. That leaves Sunny, who changes from good to hot mess depending on the song and Taeyeon who has too many lines as it is. The balance is ruined and there's always going to be that gap when they perform old songs from now on.

I wouldn't be surprised....YG already paid for them to come out to NY to get interviewed by Dazed, Fuse, Billboard, and Pitchfork back before they even debut (and YG land opens next year in California i believe...yep i am right
