I think her problem is lack of promotion
She had a really premature Idol performance and that was about it. It seems her label thought the song would smash on its own, ala Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You), but it's not happening.

But Stronger was released in te winter which is the season it was suppose to...Dark Side and PLU are basically the same
They are not summer songs at all...that's what I think is also a problem

People Like Us needed to be released just 3 months after Catch My Breath, not after 7 months. That was a wrong decision. But, anyway, I hope the song gets the Top 10, I would be happy with something like that.
