She's only released one song with a feature this era, love (Only). Two if you count BOL, but that release was scrapped.

Truffle Butter is gonna smash until April now, and apparently she's releasing The Night Is Still Young in early March. How is she gonna squeeze Feelin Myself inbetween that? It has to be released relatively soon since it's already charting so high. Lov7 Song vibes.

LMFAO @ payola. Yeah, because it's so unbelievable that Urban and Rhythmic would jump at a chance to spin a Nicki/Drake/Wayne record. As if Nicki doesn't have a slew of tracks (including the #1 song) across the format's Top 40.

It was album only because it's an iTunes exclusive track. You can't get it on the physical CD. The label put it on iTunes after seeing it go Top 20 on Urban and Rhythmic.

Nicki didn't want it as a single, kinda like Super Bass. There must be something about her bonus tracks.

Why is she always messy with her single releases? Pink Friday was the best organized era, and that was still lowkey messy w/ the random "Roman's Revenge"/"Girls Fall Like Dominoes" releases, and her promising videos for "Save Me" and "Girls Fall Like Dominoes" that never came.

This era had been great singles-wise until she "released" "Bed of Lies" as the pop single (keep in mind it had no video in that time and wasn't even gonna go to radio until mid-January) and did random promo along w/ it. She should've released "Only" to Urban/Rhythmic AND "The Night Is Still Young" to pop in late October/early November. Release the video for "Only" a bit earlier for that 2nd consecutive top 10, but otherwise do nothing w/ it (it's been a decent sized hit despite having no promo). Have a Myx commercial featuring "The Night Is Still Young" in December and dedicate all the November/December promo to it, with the video coming in the last week of 2014.

After that, release "Truffle Butter" to all formats in February, then "Get On Your Knees" and "Feeling Myself" in any order. End era.

Who can blame them? Her album tracks and bonus tracks are amazing. Always better than the singles! My favorite song from the album is Win Again, a bonus track

Having potential singles as bonus tracks is something other Young Money artists do too. I think after Super Bass and The Motto they decided it's a good strategy.

I find it believable that it's not payola, since rhythmic and urban stations play album tracks a lot, this happened with Rihanna, Beyonce, Drake and Jay-Z's latest albums too. For example All Me by Drake went to #1 on urban without an adds date iirc, and out-performed the song they actually sent for adds! Rihanna had Nobodies Business, Loveeeeeee Song and Pour It Up all go top 50 on rhythmic and/or urban as album tracks, Jay-Z had this happen to him with Tom Ford and ****withmeyouknowIgotit, and Beyonce with Partition. Don't see why it can't happen to Nicki too.

The huge pop support that Truffle Butter has got has made me suspicious though, the only other album tracks that charted on pop that I can think of are Dark Horse and Style, which makes me think Truffle Butter might've had some behind-the-scenes promotion, some radio DJs might've known it was going to be a single beforehand or something.
