The notion that the DNC would have ignored the will of the voters by taking her off the ticket and replacing her with Biden is just incredibly absurd. Never would have happened in a million years.

She'll win all four of those states. I don't think Strickland is going to win, though, I think McGinty will.

Trump is leading in quite a few swing states according to recent polls. Plus Hillary's lead in national polls has dropped significantly. Things are looking up.

If the poll numbers were terrible, yeah they probably would have. But that's speaking in hypotheticals as no one knows how she'd be polling if it weren't for Trump and no one's had unfavorables this high before to the point that they were a liability. But truth is that her unfavorables are terrible, most people think she was lying about her emails, they don't trust her, they think she won't bring much change, etc. Historically that's a bad place to be in 4 months prior to an election.
What James Comey said about her would've tanked any other candidate at any other time in history. It was damaging but it won't affect her as much because of who she's running against. Just look at the polls. Even people voting for her don't trust her and think she's a liar.
You really think democrats would run her if they felt she stood no chance to win? Even republicans are trying to knock off Trump. It won't happen but some will try.

The timing of Trump's VP pick announcement is a bit suspicious. It's happening at 11 am on Friday. Indiana requires candidates to withdraw from the ballot by noon on Friday.
Any bets on who Trump's VP pick is?

Yes, they would have. There would have been a small faction of democrats calling for someone else, sure, like there is on the republican side right now, but the DNC would have known better, like even the RNC does right now. The only way she would ever have been taken off the ticket is if she was indicted.

It's obviously going to be Pence or Gingrich, but I'm definitely thinking it's going to be Pence at this point. Though it doesn't matter at all, Pence will lose no matter what he does, he'll lose as VP or he'll lose his reelection race. Karma is gonna get him for all of the **** he's pulled here in Indiana the last 4 years.

Especially gays. They're legit considering adding anti-LGBT language to their platform, and also want to label p*rn as a public health crisis
And they're adding Trump's wall as well. The GOP is literally the Tea Party now
I'd say Cait better jump ship, but no one takes her seriously anymore anyway

I feel like Hillary desperately needs a new PR team. She has all this time to create goodwill and a more favorable impression and yet she doesn't take advantage of it.

Both are very close races so both can win.

ONE pollster. Hillary is leading in 4 others released today. Try again. Even the FBI's testimony, couldn't take her down.

She literally is surrounded by Bill, Obama, and Bernie's team. I do think the FBI mess was the last bit of scandal she had left over her head. I hope everything from now on is smooth sailing.

In Ohio, where the two candidates are tied, 11 percent of the 848 registered voters in the poll were African American, and they broke for Clinton, 88 percent to 0 percent.
And in Pennsylvania, where Clinton was ahead by nine points, 10 percent of the 829 voters are African American, and they went for Clinton, 91 percent to 0 percent.

Zero percent for Trump.

Because people are fed up with the establishment...Hillary 100% represents the establishment, while Trump is branding himself as the populist, anti-government alternative. Trump has a better chance than y'all would like to think. Even some of the Bernsters are going to switch to the Trump camp simply because Trump rallies against the government.
I guess it's between Gingrich and Indiana Gov Mike Pence for Trumps VP per CBS news this morning
I tend to like Gingrich better because he has a track record of getting policy passed in DC (with Democrats too, mind you)...also he can filet Hillary Clinton like no one else.
Pence seems capable, and a more "low key" alternative...especially if Trump wants the spotlight all to himself, as Gingrich could tend to upstage Trump.
Who do y'all think would be a better VP for Trump?

Newt has a big mouth, but would get more views so to speak and he never signed an anti-LGBT that killed Indiana's economy for that fiscal year Pence is definitely going to get grilled over and over on those religious freedom laws if he's picked.

If Bernie supporters, or anyone really, convince themselves to vote for Trump/the republicans, despite all of their anti-minority, anti-women, anti-lgbt, anti-workers rights rhetoric, they were never in favor of democratic values in the first place, then. Any Bernie supporters that are now voting for Trump likely take issue with the fact that Hillary is a woman. And spare me with the anti-establishment garbage. Anyone taking issue with the democratic "establishment" just shows how clueless they are. If being a politician and lifelong supporter/champion of democratic values and policies, fighting for the ones that can't fight for themselves, makes someone "bad" because that means they're part of the "establishment", then that's just incredibly absurd/asinine.
At this point, I have to wonder, if people are suggesting they're against Hillary because she's part of the "establishment", is that just a fancy way of saying, "she's a woman, and I'm sexist, but don't want to admit it, and can't think of a better cover"?

Spare me the "because Hillary is a woman" crap...she wouldn't be the democratic nominee and leading in the polls if that was the case.
They take issue with the Republican establishment as well...Bernsters hate both. Some just want to kick the old guard out...Trump promises to do that. That's good enough for them. It's all that matters.
