Also, the lack of proper research on meanings was ******, on the author's part at least. "Transmutation" when they meant teleportation. "Clairvoyance" when they meant telepathy. And the "Divination" was closer to actual clairvoyance.

Also, the use of Hell, when they had Papa Legba there, was bad. Papa Legba is part of voodoo. Hell, in the sense they used, is a Christian concept.

Well you either got it or you don't and she clearly didn't so she failed right away. Don't forget these are powers, if you don't have it in you, you can't simply force it to appear or learn it. She just didn't have this power.

I didn't enjoy Asylum nearly as much. Too moody, dark, disturbing and over the top. It was too creepy and too much "horror". I legit felt sad watching it...

Coven gave me LIFE.

It seems that I won't like Asylum as much as Coven, too. I don't like disturbing **** (e.g. how Delphine tortured those black men in her attic ) But I'll check it out anyway.
