It's weird how her singles play in reverse almost, music video wise. Seeing as how it goes:
CG + TD + Firework + E.T. + LFN + TOTGA + POM + WA
1) CG and WA were visually extremely similar, even Katy herself said that the video is the darker version of California Gurls. Where CG represents the beginning of her journey, WA represents the end.
2) Both POM and TD are very stripped back videos featuring Katy being herself. Where she falls in love in TD, she recovers from the break up in POM.
3) Firework and TOTGA are polar opposites to eachother. In Firework, the woman gives birth to a child an represents new life, in TOTGA it is about taking life away. The video for Firework was all about being inspirational and taking chances, the TOTGA video is all about being filled with regret.
4) E.T. and LFN just kinda ruin it
