Historically (pop) America can't support female artists for more than 6 to 10 years. 2008-2017 is quite time up. When the US is ready to push her generation and their genres into the sea anyway, she can offend 1 half of the US like Madonna, P!nk,... have done with American Life, Dear Mr President,... She has gained enough ground in foreign markets, that she doesn't have to rely on the US that much.
A just cause over the money, power and fame. Fame is for her a disgusting by-product of making music.
