1)Yes. You can fake to keep suspicion off of you. It has been done on TV and in real life multiple times.
2)We don't know A's condition. They can have dissociative identity disorder
3)Wren in S1 & S2 & S3 & S4 ALL fit the personality of Charles tbh. We've even seen Charles (in the dollhouse) let down his guard a little to the girls.

What I'm saying is, your perception of him might be flawed. He def is not as all crazy as you think. That's why they're setting up this "You'll feel sorry for him" That's just my opinion on the matter.

And a part of me doesn't want Cece to be Red Coat because she's the only friend Ali truly had.

This is not faking you can clearly see the difference when she's with the liars, that's when it's clear she's shady and overall Vanessa is a really good actress so I'm sure she did her best to play Ali's friend but Marlene should have told her she's on A team earlier than while shooting the final episodes of season 6 because watching this scene now feels ridiculous.

they had Vanessa act like she was genuinely Ali's friend so when the evident betrayal happens, the viewers will sympathize with Alison further redeeming her character

That's why I was less inclined to believe CeCe had anything to do with A or Red Coat at first. Wren, however, had conversations with Mona that were completely suspicious....
