Let me present you with a different perspective on that. If NATO gets a war with Russia, I'm on the frontlines and my city is a radioactive hole. Barack Obama and his administration has been doing a lot to oppose Putin and my country's foolish liberal governments followed. It took our new president and government to meet with Chinese leaders for the Obama administration to remind themselves of and finally fulfill their obligations and provide the Eastern NATO border with some defence. We've been a member of the Treaty since 1999 and didn't get ****.
With Trump as president, we won't need this anymore. The new president is hopefully going to end this foolish anti-Russian sentiment politics, which have been ending out in their favor anyway. In the end, they get to play the cards. Crimea is now a constituent republic of the Russian Federation. Patriot missiles in Poland and Romania are out. Russia has the initiative in the Syrian war, not NATO. Russia survived the Western sanctions and was able to start striking back. Trump's victory is a blessing for Central Europe and all of NATO.
It's time for the US to take a step back and stop being self-proclaimed defenders of democracy around the world.
