The DIL video works so well because of their performances. They look Drunk in Love and it’s a great, effervescent video.

CIL is iconic in all ways.

1+1… I don’t see all hair but I just think it’s not one of her best videos. It’s pretty but not much else. The effects are a bit cheesy, they didn’t age very well. I feel Rocket did what 1+1 did but to greater effect.

Just overall, ST as one body of video work is an astounding thing.
I still can't believe she actually did that and to the high level of execution that it was, with all those different styles and yet everything works incredibly well next to each other. None stick out (except the bonus Grown Woman).

Grown Woman fits more than Pretty Hurts.
She should've put Grown Woman as track one on the album and made PH a video only bonus.

Grown Woman wouldn't have made sense where PH is. Grown Woman is like the cherry on top of her becoming a woman. PH is her fighting through insecurity and realizing she wants to change and grow up.
