Yeah that's why I keep saying she can't release 22, she has to try to get a pop hit from one of the other producers, otherwise she could wind up being trapped. That and girl needs to get some songwriting cred over on pop.

Yes please release a remix. I wonder if there's some janky Max Martin contract though. I notice he got songwriting credits on all the songs he worked with her on (really, though, he's not fooling us all he did on IKYWT was be all "repeat this part 10 more times yes! that's genius and then slap his name on it) and she didn't get producing credits on any of them. But she has producing credits on all the songs with Nathan because we know she likes to be a huge part of the creative process.

You know, it would be a HUGE risk if she skipped over a generic, formulaic, lyrically vapid, made for pop radio single and released one of the really well written songs on the album. That would take massive cajones. Then I wouldn't have to defend her to all my friends. That's one thing I'm getting tired of, having to repeat ad nasuem "no, really, she's actually a really talented songwriter..she just... doesn't release those songs as singles... yes I know short skirts/t-shirts yes yes but she really is talented just I just... Probably. Liz always said she was more like an editor than anything with Taylor. I mean that's kind of what was lacking on Speak Now - that editor to take the 7 minute masterpiece down to radio friendly length without compromising the lyrical content.
