Honestly I'm more frustrated that she's been so withdrawn with her fans. I loved that she use to interact with us more and now she barely acknowledges us. I'm sure it's all some plan she has and the *mystery* but leading us on and giving little clues isn't fair to the fans either. I'd rather her let us know what's up because I'd feel less annoyed with her. I will be patient and wait for this album but in the future Rihanna needs to tread lightly with her fans I wouldn't be surprised if she lost some already with this messy album campaign she's been on.

She'll have to pop ha puss for the GP for those sales cuz I'm sure some Navy have drowned. I mean her fan base was never that strong/cultivated in the first place probably until UNA but she might have killed a good handful of em.

I can only hope that the music is strong enough to overpower the mess and that its received on the same level as her biggest hits have. If I had known we'd be in for this she might as well have promoted TTS, ARAYAM For Home soundtracks and got a few minor hits and acclaim since reviewers liked those songs.

I can't say I'm sure the album will be worth all of the struggles, but it's Rihanna we're talking about, she's stil the woman we fell in love for and loved for years. You can't just throw it all away because of one messy era, her first independent one. I'm sure she'll learn from her mistakes and in the long run we'll laugh at all of our meltdowns and stans jumping off ship. Just believe in her. She's capable of a lot more and she's really trying.

I can only speak for myself but I sure I'm not the only one here who has spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours and energy investing into Rihanna and her music over the years. not necessarily music meltdowns... not even talking about ATRL, but do you think social networks differs? She might lurk on Twitter/IG without saying a word and read a couple of posts by fans calling her *here comes some sh-t about s|uts, shells and coconuts*, criticizing her for her "approach", "attitude", "reasons she effed up an era" (some insults towards her family and friends follow) and "business decisions" (read like: for suppositions which are not even true)... I think R8 as project is buried by GP and most navys already, at least commercially, if not artistically. That's why it can't be paralleled w/ some releases people compare "Anti" (era) to, I think... It might do worst, but can end up for good. People don't raise expectations, and it might leave much freedom. If "Anti" comes as a sudden (huge) event with greatest music... I see it going far.

The funny thing is this is absolutely the best time for her to release! No way is she gonna risk abysmal sales by releasing in the 1st qrt of 2016 and there will be big releases next year so it's better that she release the album now and be beaten by Adele (no shame in that) than to wait until next year and risk being overshadowed by Katy, Beyonce or Gaga, girls who are actually her peers and competition...

with all the conflicting reports and everything going on, if i were her i'd be putting the project into over drive and i'd be aiming to release asap. let the outlets create buzz and boom hit everything at once and just drop it. but i'd be doing it within the next week or so.
