I only do that with an artist's first album where I usually release an EP first unless they build enough hype for an album after a few singles
I once had a Kpop group named MISTAR which released 6 EP that had only single per EP, I made them release their first album which had the 6 singles + 4 new tracks. The album had 2 singles (1 released a month before release and the other one the day of the album release). It was a flop in Asia but a Hit Worldwide.
I think with my next game I'll do more normal recording times and all that and try to churn out albums more often. It's nice to get 90's metacritic ratings but these 3 year eras get boring

Could someone write up a list of writers/producers not in the game?
Not a lot, and maybe more Pop/Country/R&B producers.
The game is filled with Rap producers
Shane McAnally and Luke Laird for country. I also added Kacey Musgraves as an artist and writer for country. There's like 1 country writer and 0 country producers in the game, it sucks
Go through the list of producers for main pop and country artists and then you'll have a short list tbh. Look at Rihanna, Katy, Gaga, Beyonce, Taylor S, P!nk, Britney, Christina, and then Kacey and Carrie.
I use EP's as mixtapes as well and just make 0 physical copies and don't promote them
