I may get killed for this but I've always thought that TMB was really overated. The story and narrative was extremely cheesy and weak. The acting was half assed most of the time. She would stop mid song and start babbling. I still think overall it was a great show and better than what most offer but I think little monsters put blinders on when thinking back about TMB. TMB had tons of flaws, imo.
BTWB is superior in every aspect for me. I also think her singing has significantly improved over the past year. I've noticed this with her performances throughout the BTW era that they seem to have improved over what she was capable of doing during TF/TFM era.

Monsters are not so scary, we respect your opinion. (At least some of us do )
I don' know much of TMB, I just saw HBO special and I think the show was amazing. But that was TMB 2.0 when everything was already perfected. Her first shows though
BTWB is really planned out, she was planning it for months and it looks really professional. I love the whole story behind it.

I should probably change my avatar because this is the thread I post in the most and Gaga is the person I stan for the most.
I thought TMB was a better show than most were offering but the way BTWB has been nitpicked and compared to TMB just has left me annoyed. Simply because TMB had bad fashion choices, weird songs and unmemorable performances. I just think BTWB delivers on every aspect TMB does by ten fold.

"The 45,000-strong audience on the opening night of her world tour at the Seoul Olympic Stadium was treated to a highly entertaining show, with impressive singing and dancing as well as ample imagination applied to her costumes and set designs. [...] Friday night was Lady Gaga at her best, fusing fashion and designs with great melodies and dance moves. Despite a few hiccups, it was a powerful lesson to the K-pop stars who dotted the arena.
[..] Set in a giant three-storey medieval castle that borrowed elements from European and Arabian architecture, she entered on a horse under dimmed lighting. In a futuristic outfit and an alien-head like mask, she sang through the opener “Highway Unicorn” and disappeared shortly after on a moving walkway. [...] Most of her notes were solid and confident throughout, a notable feat while going through all her athletic dance moves. She even fell twice on stage, but she stood back up in no time and returned to her rhythm.
The carefree levity that characterizes her persona and performance is an enormous force that can uplift even the largest of arenas."
U.S pop star Lady Gaga wowed some 50,000 people in the audience at the Olympic stadium in Seoul with her provocative but creative stage costumes and performances.
Riding on to the the stage on a horseback, clad in a futuristic body suit and metal headpieces designed by Italian fashion power house Giorgio Armani specially for the concert, Lady Gaga made her first official appearance here, saying the past week felt like a month to her.
And captivate the audience, she did. Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way Ball”concert mesmerized the Korean audience for over two hours with innovative and breathtaking stage installation and ideas.
“(It was) imaginative and futuristic,” said Claire Hong, 45, who attended the concert with her girlfriend.
Friday night's event was only the second concert by a foreign artist held at the country‘s largest sports and entertainment venue. The late Michael Jackson held a concert at the same arena in 1996."
A bra made of guns, a see-through latex number, a motorbike as a piano, the meat dress (accompanied by butcher-hooked meat and bizarre meat grinders). There’s nothing underwhelming about Lady Gaga live, and it’s almost best summed up by the absurd extravagance of her costumes and sets.
An unrivalled spectacle, of course, was always expected. And so, on cue, the reigning Queen of global pop delivered, emerging from the pregnant belly of a sprawling castle façade, beneath an immense gleaming pink neon diamond prop. As she ripped through her massive catalogue of hits – Born This Way, Poker Face, Love Game, Paparazzi and Telephone among them, Lady Gaga’s first of four sold-out arena shows here in Hong Kong was significantly powered by glitz and glamour, a massive troupe of energetic, flair-brimming dancers, horsemen encircling the extended catwalk stage and props galore.
But for all the entertaining façade, beneath the plethora of ostentatious costumes and sets, there was a strange hint of robotocism about the Lady herself, about her millisecond perfect choreography, pitch-perfect vocal gymnastics and hyper-energy. Even when she improvised elements slipped into the night – like when ‘Ra Ra Ah Ah’ in Bad Romance became ‘Ra Ra Ho-ong Ko-ong’), there was a hint of over rehearsal about it.
Not that many in the crowd would care. The Mother Monster was in their midst – and in essence, she delivered everything any Lady Gaga fan could hope for – including a bra made of guns.
For two days in a row, American pop diva Lady Gaga took her fans by storm at concerts in Taipei. [...]
As in her concert on Thursday, Lady Gaga kicked off her second and last concert in Taipei on Friday night with "Highway Unicorn," entering onto a 25-meter tall Gothic style stage astride a black horse.
Throughout the show, the costume chameleon made a dozen wardrobe changes, including an alien outfit, a skirt shaped like an origami paper crane, a headdress featuring the Statue of Liberty and her famous "meat dress."
Over a course of two hours, the star reeled out more than 20 songs from her albums, such as hits "Bad Romance," "Poker Face," "Just Dance" and "Born This Way," electrifying her "little monsters," who waved thousands of pink glow sticks in the dark and held placards that said "Love You."
Expensive tickets did not seem to quench the passion of fans. Enrico Lu, who came to the concert with his wife and their two sons, said the four tickets in the pit cost him huge bucks, but he brought his family to the concert because he thought it was a "once in a lifetime experience" and because he wanted his children to experience something unique; "It's a little expensive," said 18-year-old Lee Wei-sheng, who bought the most expensive ticket to Thursday's concert with money from his parents. "But it is well worth it."
On April 27th the world’s biggest pop star of the moment, the New York City-born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (aka Lady Gaga) kicked off her enormous world tour with a sold-out concert in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, followed by a date in Hong Kong, before going on to Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta. Surprising, perhaps, as any self-respecting Western pop superstar used to begin their world tours almost exclusively in America or Britain. So the Lady Gaga tour itinerary has provoked a lot of comment in the Asian press and online.
There was a time, after all, when what used to be called the “developing world” only got the has-beens and B-listers. [...] So does her “Born this Way ball” tour provide yet more evidence that the economic pendulum has now made its full swing from West to East? Alan Ridgeway, the worldwide promoter for the shows, certainly seems to think so. He is quoted in the press as saying that although Japan used to be a fairly safe bet for big Western stars, now it’s the whole region: “Even though Japan may be able to support three or four shows, this often wasn’t enough to justify the expense of bringing a tour to Asia. Now as we see increasing demand from other markets, such as South Korea, China and Indonesia, it becomes possible to route a financially viable multi-date tour through the region.”
The demand is clearly there. “Little monsters”, as Lady Gaga’s fans are sweetly known, have been snapping up the tickets as soon as they go on sale—in the case of Jakarta, 25,000 in the first two hours. Prices start at $50 rise steeply from there—and they don’t seem to have put youngsters off either. It seems that Lady Gaga knows her market. Doubtless the frisson of rebelliousness she sells plays a role too. Religious groups of all stripes, including Christians in Korea and Muslims in Indonesia, have attacked the gender-bending singer for corrupting the nations’ morals, urging their compatriots to stay away—which I guess will make her fans want to go even more. That’s still the point, isn’t it?
Americans will have to wait until next year. And what of poor old downgraded Europe? The little monsters there will have to wait until September or October to see their idol. And it looks as if someone from Standard & Poor’s might have drawn up the itinerary. The least sound economies are left till last, presumably so Lady Gaga can pull out in good time before a complete collapse. Thus her last three dates are in Italy, France and finally Spain. For the moment there don’t seem to be any Greek dates.

Foot, sis, did you finish that European leg's prediction?
I have most countries ready, but I still need information on the prices for Italy and Switzerland, and reliable info on how Denmark, Ireland and the Balkan and Baltic dates are doing.

Italy is from 86.25euros to 109.25, but that was pre-sale, I think.

This is the best I can find for Italy. Livenation removed tickets' prices so I found it on the official italian page for Gaga. If you aren't able to understand something even with translator's help, ask it to me and I'll help you!
