Even if it comes out this month, it's been 9 months since the first single was released. She could have literally created and have birthed a child in the time between FFS and now. Mentioning a delay would be a BIT redundant.
Besides, that information is pretty much the only semi-reliable thing to go on, since Rihanna doesn't even seem to know what's going on. All we get is "soon" and "it's not done".
