Thoughts on some things being mentioned here.
Megyn Kelly:Megyn Kelly may luck out where Katie Couric failed in that she wasn't making a daytime to nightly news branding transition. She was on primetime to begin with which helps but I still think NBC's stretching the brand too thin with the newsmagazine on Sunday
and the daytime show
and the primetime coverage. The Trump feud luster will fade and she had O'Reilly as a lead-in. My instinct? Great ratings for a few months of the Sunday program followed by a sharp decline and cancellation after a season.
'Outsiders': What is an 'outsider' nowadays anyways? It's so subjective. Trump bought and paid ppl in both parties for decades - this notion's laughable. Bernie hasn't been an 'ousider' if we're going by the stricter definition.
On Trump "succeeding": Just 'cause he's in office I'm not rooting for him to fail, no. Excuse the cynicism though when the entire cabinet IS the swamp. Lied about Carrier, lied about Sprint. The entire record thus far is a colossal failure and he hasn't even arrived.

That one wasn't a tenth as contentious as this cycle. And she won by almost 3 million, versus losing by 500k
