DWUW went #1 because of preorders. And when it got the exposure from being #1 it sold 160k. Dope went #1 too but people did not like it and it did not sell more than the preorders.

Pretty sure the pre-order sales (~100k) were subtracted from Dope's first week sales, but the ~100k did count towards the Hot 100. For some reaosn they applied the 'complete my album' effect before the album was released
