OK so I have an idea.

Taking the biggest hit from each year of the Top 5 short-list of the BBC Sound Of. It would be a really eclectic mix of a huge range of musical styles. 60 hits from 60 different acclaimed acts.
Only issue would be defining which is the artist's
biggest hit; for example with AlunaGeorge it's probably White Noise despite it being a Disclosure feature. And then with Ellie Goulding, you could easily argue Burn/Lights. And Florence- you could argue Shake it Out/Spectrum (Remix)/Dog Days are Over. And even Marina- I'd say it's Primadonna but someone else might say Hollywood. I'd probably make the decision based on UK peak on the Top 40 but it's whatever. And even then, the act's biggest hit may very well be far, far from their 'best' or most acclaimed. Like, would Dance With Me or Bonkers adequately reflect Dizzee Rascal's standard of output?
