He has respect and acclaim in the rap community and is a grammy winner for the right reasons not for the wrong reasons.
Nicki had one multiplatinum album and two follow up albums
one with 12 releases
the 2nd with 7 releases and counting
both not selling 1M much less multiplatinum and having promo on numerous award shows.
Kendrick brings content and quality and still gets sales, acclaim, nominated and wins awards.

Which makes it worse because she dabbles in pop and urban and yet they don't want to buy her music or see her on tour otherwise she wouldn't be selling tour tickets on grindr to get it to sell out.
We saw the european tour receipts as well as the negative reviews and people that actually attended claiming they saw many people walk about before the end of the show.

So now we are downplaying the anaconda viral sensation, now we are downplaying her massive promo schedule before, during and after the album was released.
That said I agree that TPP is not bombing just underperforming as I can't think of an artist that had that much promo, that many releases and has not cleared 1M sales in two eras.
That said,you seem to be ok with an established artist released 7 releases and struggling to sell past gold but not with a new artist that they tried to place as a one year wonder reaching gold and having multiple hits that still get played on radio today.
You run the thread because at one point you were bothered with Nicki so you hopped onto Iggy and now that Iggy is laying low and in backlash you are distancing yourself from her.
I mean it happens so it's typical but still obvious nonetheless
