I think I like Sub's best. I tried making a kinda similar thread and it got like 3 responses.

Super and Era sent what I consider "typical" ATRL threads ("classics" pops up semi-frequently, and I think we already have a "discovery" thread tbh).

I don't like Bomb's dance thread. It's annoying and stuck up to assume pop stars are supposed to be accomplished dancers and then drag them when they aren't. I wish he'd sent quirky names or gay =/= black.

Nnn maybe I'm just used to messy threads happening after that timeline.

I liked Jake's and Superpower's. One is sort of commonplace but it generated interest (music) and the other brought up an interesting point to perception.

I feel like threads should've been earlier in the season. I understand why you wouldn't want it that way— a dozen members making multiple threads trying to get one that sticks? No thanks.

I think part of the reason it feels underwhelming is because the past several rounds have been very demanding, whereas this round was "make a thread, send a link." Obviously, there's some creativity and whatever involved, but... there must be a hundred threads made daily, and none of us really managed to make something that truly stood out in that proliferation of threads.




And I should note that my thread wasn't meant to be about praising Taylor so much as it was about trying to use this unique 1989/1989 situation to prompt a discussion about attitudes towards female musicians and pop music.
