Do you want to see Lady GaGa´s dancers in action? Then watch the video. This piece of art directed by THE ONE AND ONLY Joseph Kahn is one of the most amazing videos from this year. It´s fierce in every sense of word.
The eery, subversive horror movie style video that accompanies "Please Don't Leave Me" plays on the concept in the lyrics. There are clear similarities to Stephen King's Misery in the images of a boyfriend being tortured with various injuries. Directed by Dave Meyers, the video for "Please Don't Leave Me" is horrific to some and brilliant dark comedy to others. HER BEST VIDEO TO DATE.
WOW WOW WOW! One of the most amazing videos of the decade, the concept fits perfectly with the song. The music video starts out with Britney in front of a mirror, putting on jewelry. Before you know it, you are watching a video based in a circus type setting, with Britney herself sort of dressed like a magician. Of course, there are other segments to the video… all the normal stuff you would expect, like Britney dancing with a bunch of shirtless dudes. There are also some interesting scenes that pop out of nowhere, like birds flying out of a hat and midget-like guys dancing in a circus ring. The video was directed by Francis Lawrence and it premiered on December 5th 2008. KEEP ENTRETAINING US RINGLEADER!
The music video for the song is spectacular, in that it aims to achieve everything in four minutes, fails, and instead extends the video to seven minutes, in the vein of Michael Jackson’s short films. Gaga herself stated that she wanted it to be a short film rather than a simple music video.
In the words of Lady GaGa, "The video explores ideas about sort of hyperbolic situations that people will go to in order to be famous. Most specifically, ****ography and murder." The imagery is both disturbing and stunningly beautiful. It is a perfect accompaniment to the mixture of sometimes conflicting emotions in the song. Thank you JONAS AKERLUND, this video is without a doubt the best from THE FAME era.
OH-MY-GOD This music video is PURE PERFECTION, IMO its not only the video of the year... IT IS THE VIDEO OF THE DECADE!. Evert single element in the video is brilliant. Through the course of nearly a dozen costume-changes, GaGa is supported by an entourage of Russian models and mafia members who will eventually kidnap her to sell as a sex-slave. The video is about fashion--she dons Alexander McQueen's latest runway collection throughout the video. It's about innocence--set in a Bathhouse, she emerges from a spotless bathtub with pastel-colored hair and eerie, doll-like eyes. It's about money--she commands a roomful of ogling buyers while surrounded by floating diamonds. It's about glamor--she approaches her master for the first time wearing crimson-red lipstick and a bearskin robe. And it's about death--the video ends with a disturbed GaGa on a bed next to a scorched corpse. It was directed by Francis Lawrence.
This is my number 1 video of the year, I hope you like it
