NOTES:
- My countdown will complete 5 years on April 22nd. So, I'll start to do special countdowns, and I'll give curious facts about the chart. There are some bonuses today, and the stats of 2011 retired songs! Enjoy ^___^
5th Year of the Countdown!
Curious facts:
- The countdown was a Top 30 from the debut countdown to January 17th, 2007. The retirement age used to be 100 days, and on October 10th, 2006 it changed to 70 days. BTW, old songs and non-singles could be on the countdown.
- There was a era in the Top Ten countdown (from July 14th, 2007 to October 11th, 2007) that the retirement age was 55 days. Songs that retired in this rule: Kelly Clarkson "Sober", Amy Winehouse "Rehab", Incubus "Oil And Water", Boys Like Girls "The Great Escape", Aiden "We Sleep Forever", Carrie Underwood "So Small", Avril Lavigne "When You're Gone"
- First Pop Song to reach #1: Kelly Clarkson, "Because of You" (April 22nd, 2006)
- First Rock Song to reach #1: Fall Out Boy, "Dance, Dance" (May 11th, 2006)
- First Rap Song to reach #1: T.I., "What You Know" (May 29th, 2006)
- First R&B Song to reach #1: Rihanna, "Unfaithful" (June 9th, 2006)
- First Country song to reach #1: Carrie Underwood, "Inside Your Heaven" (June 14th, 2006)
- First Brazilian song to reach #1: CSS, "Rat Is Dead (Rage)" (May 1st, 2008)
